Katie Price is to have a cameo in the film of her life. The glamour model is in negotiations to have her autobiographies adapted for the big screen and wants to appear in the movie briefly. She said: 'When I was in America I did talk to producers. I’ve always said I’ll do a movie. Once my next autobiography is out it will be made. 'There’s a film made by Mel Gibson, 'Paparazzi’, in which he makes a cameo I shall do something like that. It will be a good movie and it will happen believe me!' The 31-year-old brunette is currently working on her latest autobiography and will hand it over to producers when it is complete along with her previous books so work can start on the script. She said: "I've got four autobiographies, well, they're four diaries. I've found a producer and he's already got three of them - I'm giving him the other one and that's what they're doing." Katie released her first autobiography, 'Being Jordan', in May 2004 and subsequent instalments, 'Jordan: A Whole New World' and 'Pushed to the Limit', in April 2006 and February 2008 respectively. Her latest book will concentrate on her acrimonious split and subsequent divorce from Peter Andre and her new marriage to cage-fighter Alex Reid.

Jack White has hit out at critics who have dismissed Meg's ability on the drum kit. Recently ridiculed for her basic drumming style Jack has spoken out in her defence. "Her femininity and extreme minimalism are too much to take for some metal heads and reverse-contrarian hipsters," the singer told The New York Post earlier this week. "She can do what those with 'technical prowess' can’t. She inspires people to bash on pots and pans. For that, they repay her with gossip and judgment. In the end she's laughing all the way to the Prada handbag store. She wins every time."

Elbow frontman Guy Garvey backs Pink Floyd after their recently legal victory against their record label to stop digital sales of individual tracks. Pink Floyd claimed that EMI had no right to sell their work track by track saying it should be sold only as a complete album. "I was over the moon when I heard that Pink Floyd had won," Garvey told The Guardian. "They successfully asserted their right to make their albums available only to download in full, and not as individual tracks. It wasn't because I saw it as a David v Goliath victory – Pink Floyd are pretty gigantic – but because, as a musician, the integrity of the album means everything to me." He continued: "We wanted our most recent album, 'The Seldom Seen Kid', available only to download in full, or in bundles of tracks – but we were met with huge opposition. We think of Elbow albums as novels with chapters. When you've put your heart and soul into something, you want people to hear it as it was intended."
